Most of us are very familiar with the function of linetype scales and that it is good practice to use 1.0, especially if you share you files. Also, we need to use HIDDEN2, CENTER2, DASHED2, etc. because using HIDDEN, CENTER, DASHED, etc. will net you lots of continuous lines.
I started this discussion because my company recently upgraded from a much older version to MEP2011 and CAD management here has insisted that we use 0.5 because that's the OOTB setting. This seems borderline insane on his part because all of our standards are based on 1.0 and this change makes all of our linetypes show half the size that they were before. How can someone in that position make such a broadbrushed change without realizing the implications?
