Topic: question to all you estimators

we have a shade schedule and are trying to do a takeoff of how different sizes there are and the quantity of each. we have a column with the width and another with the height. i think this can be done using pivot tables but if someone has done this could they explain it to me?

I think the best way is to go into Excel Help and do a search on PivotTables. I just did and got a wealth of info from "About PivotTable reports: interactive data analysis" to "Create a PivotTable report", as well as "Arrange the data".
