Finding needed system variables quickly
« on: March 21, 2012, 01:04:03 PM »
Was wondering how you go about finding system variables you can not remember or looking to see if there is one for a certain functionality.

Using this previous thread as an example(which my answer might and usually are wrong)

I would type in a command XCLIP then press F1 then look at System Variables on that page and if none then go to Related Topics and look at System Variables on those pages and if needed click on a system variable that looks similar and that page might have link to what I am looking for, or search for subject that covers it and do the same as mentioned above while drilling down to more specific pages related to system variable needed.
