F8 no longer works

What drives the connection of the F8 key to Ortho.  I can't get my F8 key to work my ortho command.  If I right click on the ortho button it doesn't let me go into settings.

Any ideas?

Hmm... I don't think there are any settings for Ortho other that "on" or "off".  Perhaps that explains why the right-click menu show "settings" grayed out.

If the F8 key doesn't toggle Ortho but the Ortho command works fine, then I would suspect the keyboard is broken.  You can also manipulate Ortho using Orthomode sys var.

Are you using any other software that captures the F8 keystroke before it gets to Acad? It would probably be something someone recently installed on your conmputer/network. We had some problems with the raster image manipulation software capturing certain keystrokes before Acad got them.

It works this morning.  Guess it needed a reboot.
