If you have good, clean plots, send them out to your local repro company.

In that case take Dent's advise. You will still have to replot tho.

i wrote a bat file

    copy /b %1 LPT2
    cls
    @echo off
    echo ----------------------------------------------
echo The plot file has been sent to the Minolta Di250 PS
    echo ----------------------------------------------

but it only prints out 1/8" of the full sheet and it is 1=1... on a 8.5 x 11.

is ithere a way to specifiy a 11x17 scale to fit? in this plt.bat file?

I'm partial to the scale-to-fit with "scale linetypes" and "center plot" selected...

Do it with a script file.

I have one for a 40x32, but you can change out the options you need.

Let me know if you want me to post!!

heres what i do...

1. i plot to a plt at a 1:1 24x36 PLT file.

2. i plot to the plotter using the 1:1: 24x63 PLT file.

I want to

1. (same as above)

2. plot to a laser 11x17 scaled to fit from the 24x36... using what ever i need to use.

make any sense?

You want to plot a plt file to a different size?

That's not possible with ACAD. You have to have a seperate program (I use Oce Publisher, free) but it isn't fast.
