open the drawing (CONTROL+O in Blockwerx)
go to File ~ Drawing Properties

and fill in properties to your hearts content ~ then just call up those properties in the Blockwerx dialogues

me thinks we need a tutorial on using Blockwerxhere at the swamp

$50 for all that functionality is a very very small price to pay !

you could also do it in design center (sort of) but the functionality is really limited compared to Blockwerx.

Offer to buy it if your boss won't.  The offer alone might change his mind.  Tell him that you could get some of the same results as BlockWerx, but it would take you at least 4 hours of work...(hopefully you're worth more than $50 for 4 hours!!!)
If the boss won't buy it, tell him you're going to and it comes with you if you ever leave the company.

You've been fiddling with this thing over a 3 hour period already based on your posts..  Looks to me like it would be worth your time to invest in the program.. I'll bet your employer bills you out at over $65/hr.. Time for him to open the wallet I'd say..

In Acad, set attdia to 1 and in blockwerx, make sure you have it selected, then insert a block.  There's really no big difference other than the fact that after you fill in the attributes, you don't have to TAB to the OK button like you do in the acad dialog box.

Mark, sort of. If you draw in ADT4, which is 2004, and save back to ADT3.3, which is 2002, you get proxy objects. I hate those things and I don't suppose I need to explain them to you. Needless to say, they are uneditable pieces of trash. I assume that's why you asked. Now, if you export your drawing from adt4 to adt3.3 you can get real objects, if I remember correctly. At least I know you can edit the objects. Anyway, going deeper, if you are looking to a lisp solution, yes they are compatible with the same issues as any 2004 to 2002 releases.
