Does anyone know of a good reference book on Map 3D. I can't seem to find any. Or info particularly on coordinate system projection/reprojection.  Help doesn't help!

Tad,

What do you want to do with MAP?  I think that you might find that many of the books are lacking in certain areas of applying MAP.  They do a decent job of showing functions; however they tend to fail in putting it together so that the user can actually leverage the power of MAP.  I have had many users in class, that had, various MAP books in their possesion, yet could not apply MAP.

Thats so true about most AutoDesk products. Most people do not use even a tiny portion of the tools avaiable in LDD. I have been told that I am in a catagory of about 10% of LDD users that uses the figure prefix library and descripror keys in our survey work. I cannot imagine doing a topo with out my auto-line-draw. i watch people drawing from node to node or by point range and just shake my head. So much time wasted.  :-(
