Does anybody out there deal with shape files?
I have some on architects drawings we have, but we dont have the shape file, and the reference keeps asking for it.
so my basic question is:-
Can you just delete or explode the shape file?
cheers.

What I have resorted to in the past was to create a shape with the same name as
the missing shape. i use a large circle for my shape. You have to shut ACAD down
to have it load the shape the next time you open the offending DWG. Now you can
find the location of those shapes & delete them if you want.
