Settings Problem
« on: January 11, 2009, 09:42:08 PM »
After right clicking "grid" and selecting "settings" I get the message on the command line "Unknown command "0"".  I’m using AutoCad 2000i.

How can I correct this situation?

Try a different input mode and let us know the results.

Snap and grid

Snap and grid are now accessed in the Drafting Settings dialog box (on the Tools menu, click Drafting Settings). You can also enter dsettings or ddrmodes on the command line to open the Drafting Settings dialog box.

The SNAP (F9) or GRID (F7) commands function as in previous releases.

Thanks for the reply Michael.  I tried both commands.  Typing in dsettings on the command line I get "Unknown command and for ddrmodes I get "0".  I do not know what I did to cause this.   :-(

Try putting a period in front of the command name you are trying, incase it has be undefined.  ie ' .dsettings '
Tim

I don't want to ' end-up ', I want to ' become '. - Me
