LISP editor help
« on: January 12, 2010, 05:17:47 PM »
There was a version of notepad or an enhanced notepad that I used to use to edit lisp.  I do not have VLIDE so I was using that.  Does anyone know what the name of the program was or where to find it?  (I think it was a free download)

Thanks!

How do you test your code without AutoCAD?
Are you developing in an older version or an AutoCAD clone?

Thank you Lee Mac!  That was the one I remember.

rkmcswain -- I have AutoCAD LT 2008 with Toolbox LT. I just load and run the program.  I'm still fairly new to all this.  I am probably doing things the hard way, but at least I will learn... LOL

Gotcha... I can't fathom going back to editing and debugging lisp code without the VLIDE....

Yeah... Like I said... I'm probably doing things the hard way... I have never used VLIDE so that's probably why it hasn't bothered me too much...

I wish there was a lisp recorder where you can just turn it on in AutoCAD and have it record your actions and input from CAD and write a lisp file for you....

Anyone know of one? LOL
