Incramental Array for acrs?
« on: April 26, 2016, 07:31:41 AM »
Just seeing if there is anything out like this? Here is what prompted this one. When drawing parking for arc'd lots. I usually start at one spot, and offset my length of space. Notta prob. Then I usually draw a line perpendicular to the other line. I draw a circle at the intersection for the width then repeat the process over and over. lol.

I know there a tons of options out there how to do this. The measure command comes to mind, but I need to make the paint stripe a block.

I was just thinking if there was a way similar to the Incremental Array routine?

I guess, the user selects the objects they want to array. Then select the base points of the center of the arc. Finally the width and then the user can drag how long they want to go...

Just wanted to get some thoughts on this one.

Thanks for the help guys.

Try "3parray.lsp" or "Darray15.lsp" posted here :

Note : Attached Darray15.lsp is different than Andrea's - I've modified it just a little in a way to display better dynamic info data (MTEXT entity that updates dynamically)...
