Lisp for Breakout of Areas
« on: May 05, 2008, 09:21:49 PM »
I would like to know if there is a lisp out there to breakout polyline areas off of layers.

I would like to take a 2D Flat Site Plan with a parking lot and building and property lines.

I want to draw polyline areas over the site plan. but within those polylines i drew, I want to know if i can breakout all the other areas in side the polyline. Like a layer for building, the breakout of areas.

If you would like a picture, I can give you one. Thanks!!!!

If you hatch each area there is a lisp to get the hatch area.

I did do a search for a reactor area polyline, but other than the hatch by an area, is there another way of getting quick results? Rather than having alot of boundary hatchs or polylines?

Ok. I used my head. We use civil 3d alot. I did not think about using the parcel lines as the areas. Works pretty good.
Sorry bout the post.
