dynamic block to 2004/ 2000

i created a dynamic block.

now i have to save as to 2000 or 2004 for my consultants.

what will happen to my dynamic blocks? would it become a regular block? pls advice. thanks

It'll become an anonymous block, kept in the state that you left it in. Still can be moved, copied, scaled, whatever, but no dynamic properties. If you had explode protection turned on, I don't think that'll carry through, but I haven't tried it. I also haven't tried to see if REFEDIT works on anonymous blocks, but someone else here might know.

The saveas to 2004 the DB will still work fine.
The saveas to 2000 the DB will be a dumb block.

True, as long as you open it in 2006 or above.
