Topic: Cant find my icons

I am using 2008 ACAD Building Systems MEP.

I can make a new toolbar from within the cui file, but when i pick an icon from the list, it will not save that on the toolbar that i made.

I am not making new icons, just trying to use the ones that came in the system.

I select the icon I want from the list and when i hit apply, it does not save it.
It will save it if i map to a .bmp file in a folder somewhere.

can someone please help

I only have vanilla Autocad. Those icons are in acadficn.dll

Be sure that the file can be found.

That is the only way I do it. I thought you HAD to do it that way.

You can also put them in a .DLL file (limited time... can't find the thread I'm looking for)

.BMP's or a special .dll are good for new icons (you can also use .ico files, for the Ribbon you need to use .ico files if you want a transparrent background).
But TNT-Cad is talking about the icons out of the box. Those icons are stored in the acadficn.dll file,
