Title: What is true north for CA83-VIF?
Post by: dubb on July 06, 2018, 12:43:43 PM
I don't have C3D but I design with Geographic locations. I think my northdirection parameter is incorrect. Can someone please generate a blank dwg with CA83-VIF?

I saw that. Its actually for a different zone. Zone 5 (CA83-VF). I noticed the North Direction was slightly off by some degrees. In my CA83-VIF file (Zone 6 California State Plane) the north direction is 0 Degrees exactly.

if that is how you have autocad set up....yes

it's zero for each projection/zone

yet it will have a slight declination between zones
