If you run into this
I thought 2016 was regening while working and was getting annoyed but realized it actually resizing the window.
Had to many things open at the bottom and if coordinates were to long would not have enough room and it would resize window, then when coordinates would fit beside paperspace tab at bottom would resize back and was happening every 5 or so seconds.
I just removed some of the settings to show by clicking far right button and unchecking it.
Pic shows where not enough room and moved below model and paperspace tabs

Just curious. What do you use the coords for?
-
I often use those coordinates for quick spot checking of elevations.

Do you really need all those icons at the bottom?

Not a fan of the new status bar! Hate that clicking the Workspace Switching button now displays the name of the workspace where before that was something you turned off/on. Only reason for clicking is to switch to another workspace, once you done that a few times you should be able to know what workspace is current by glancing at the screen. Now we have to click and drag to select a workspace. The icon now takes more space and is more cumbersome than before.

Sorry just realized I miss replies
Just curious. What do you use the coords for?
Now that you ask me, I don't really ever use them.
Do you really need all those icons at the bottom?
Not really.
