Title: setting font styles autocad 3d
Post by: meco3hp on November 12, 2007, 03:24:22 PM
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to set a default font style so when I open dwgs that have been converted from microstation, all I have to do is run a using a lisp called sty.lsp, tell it the style name and it converts all the text to that style. I got the lisp from here:
http://www.wilsoft.com/free_autocad_lisp.html (http://www.wilsoft.com/free_autocad_lisp.html)

look for sty.lsp.

right now I have to open the dwg, change the style to arial, apply, exit from the dialog box, then type "sty", step through it's routine, (telling it to change "style", and the name of the style) and hit enter, then escape to get out of the command. I have to do this to each drawing right now. How do I set a default font style. (it's been about 3 1/2 years since I last used ACAD,,,way too long!) I would like to see "our" style load as a default.
I talked to T-Bear, and he suggested, I post over here.

Thanks!
Richard

I suggest use of the cad manger tools to map the styles, and layers.

Or Import that dgn using MAP inside C3D
