I have modeled an object and I want to rotate the object to a different perspective, however, whenever I try to 3DOrbit, I am greeted with a warning that you cannot use "walk and fly" without setting the view to perspective. Well, ok, but I don't want to use walk and fly, I want to merely rotate the object to a different view. Regardless of the number of times I select "do not warn me again" I get it everytime I use 3dorbit.
Finally I succombed to the incessant warnings and set the view to perspective, only now, I cannot orbit the object as I would like, it is as if it is locked into a zx plane rotation. No matter how many times I change the setting to turn off the "fly" option (right click while in the 3dorbit command) after checking the option I want and start to orbit, I get that stupid warning about not being able to "walk and fly" without setting the view to perspective, and sure enough, a right click confirms the setting has set itself back to "fly".
What am I missing, and when did Autodesk sneak this new feature into the software?
