Title: WORLD GLOBE DRAWING
Post by: KOWBOI on May 11, 2010, 11:52:15 AM
I used to have a lisp routine that would draw a world map on to a 3d globe. Is there something like that available for download here? I searched but didn't find anything. I am very limited to what sites I can go to here at work due to the IT nazis. Most autolisp sites are seen as interests and hobbies. I'm surprised they haven't blocked this site yet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've seen this before, many moons ago.  Not here though.  I have not seen anything like it since either.
It was pretty sweet, even drew the space shuttle with an astronaut doing a spacewalk.  The developer was working on the routine drawing the moon and eventually some other planets as well.  His goal was to eventually draw the solar system.  dunno if he ever made it though.

It's in the tutorial or examples or something directory for autocad.
