Recovery Error
« on: March 16, 2009, 03:26:33 PM »
I'm trying to recover a file that somehow got botched this morning/afternoon. When I go through recovery I see this (see attached). I think it has something to do with a multileader, but unsure. It recovers the file, but then cracks. Is there anyway known to save this file short of querying stuff in (will lose c3d objects)???

Anyone care to try it on their comp?

Sure, send it west and I'll have a go at it.

Sent.

I actually can't even attach the file via Map. This sorta sucks. We should have a viable backup from last week, but that's iffy as our backup software seems on the fritz.

I can insert the .dwg as a block into another, yet the existing grade is botched. It's there, but not in the correct place.

this sounds just like the issue Gael had last week...

you are using the Save MY Button command aren't you?

try setting the units and zone prior to insertion of the block...

Units and Zone are set. It's the section views that are goofed. I had modified the section style.

Now I can't find where I can set the low and high elev's of the sections. I thought you just went to the section props and it allowed you to change the datum and max elev, but maybe not...?

I'm pretty sure when I went in there it was all grayed out. I'll have to look at it again tomorrow. For now Jeff has fixed the file for me somehow.

Thanks again Jeff!
