Here's a good one to keep you busy this weekend. Has anyone ever had a line appear to have a gap with a dot at the end? Sort of like a dimension would have. Now when I say end I mean a line drawn from point ‘a’ to point ‘b’, point ‘b’ being where the gap & dot shows up. The strange part is no matter how close you zoom the gap never gets any bigger. And, a majority of the time it doesn’t show up until you do a regen. When you use an osnap such as endpoint it locks on to the ‘dot’ at the end of the line. I’ve checked everything. It’s a normal line, no ‘z’ coordinate. I can’t really figure it out. Any ideas?

What's the layer's and/or objects (i.e. line's) linetype?
-
It didn't make a difference which layer it was on. The linetype is continuous but I didn't check to see if it happened with other linetypes.

Sounds like a video card problem....

Are you using any 3rd party software?
-
No 3rd party software, just plain vanilla 2002 with enablers loaded for arch desktop

Try copying some of these lines and paste them into a new drawing. See if you have the same results or any lt definiitions are brought with it.
