leader text on Defpoints layer??
« on: January 30, 2014, 12:28:40 PM »
Okay, I seem to have a buggy version here or something. Now my callout leaders have their text on the Defpoints layer. WHY?!?!  :ugly: :pissed:

Any ideas?  :-(

What kind of leader? Multi leader? QLeader?
I don't know why that would happen, not sure if there's a setting in multi leaders??

It's a block leader with the circle block and a callout number in it. I exploded it and everything is on the layer it should be but the original "callout" text is on the Defpoints layer.

That tells me that the Defpoints layer was the one it was created in. Open the block as a dwg file and fix it. You'll have to purge, or rename any references of it in the dwg you pulled it into for the changes to take effect.

How do I find the dwg file it's in? It was created with the annotation ribbon leader button.

May the fact that the drawing was imported from Inventor have something to do with it?

First I have to ask, how are you calling this block into the drawing? Custom Lisp routine, or from a some kind of menu library?

Created with this?

Open the MleaderStyle and look at block name.

If it is circle like above the block name will be _TagCircle
Will probably have to insert one and attsync.

Attsync fixes the attributes of all the present definitions of a selected block within the drawing (once you've fixed the block definition of course).
