Autodesk P&ID

I just encountered an issue that may or may not be easily solved, so I have to turn to the experts here at the swamp...  8-)

We received 3 dwgs from a potential client (they don't have a CAD guy anymore...) that were created with Autodesk P&ID.

Here we're still using A2004 and more recently, some machines that utilize A2007 Map3D.

I tried already converting the dwg using TrueConvert, but there are still things missing... I converted the dwg to a PDF, where I can see ALL objects, but conversion from PDF to a DXF renders all the text and everything else to lines (in other words, useless for us to be able to edit).

Is there a quick and easy fix? Is it an object enabler that I'm looking for? Or do we need to send one of our CAD guys to them to save down the dwg from their machine, provided they still have that program installed?

help?

Robert,
That's not my area but my first inclination is that you need an enabler.
If that doesn't work then it need to be "saves as" to something that will give you access to those proxy objects.

That's my guess :-)
