Superelevation Band
« on: February 08, 2010, 09:03:11 PM »
I would like to know if it is possible to add the text that is in Magenta (the 2.5% and -2.5%) on the image below?  the purpose of the text is to indicate the cross-fall on the road.  I have use the superelevation option on a alignment to get a street's cross-fall from left to right.

It should look something like this.

so you are trying to label the roadway cross slope along the bottom of the profile, and NOT in a cross section view?

As we can not add anchor components to these label(s) we may not be able to trick into aligning itself horizontal to the view as you desire?

OK, Willie I think you can do it only the text  wants to anchor to the Band TOP....

Yes.  The second pic is taken from an old drawing.  It is nice to show where the cross slope change from one side to the other in a street.  But I would still provide a typical cross sections for each section of the road.

I had some luck with anchoring to TOP of band and then manipulating offset position...(I think; still testing)

with this you might need to place TWO band sets one with labels anchored to top, another anchored to bottom, and then position them so they are on top of each other.....

I have sped some time on this, but without any luck.  :|

The easiest way to do it, is to place the text manually.
