Orphaned Xrefs
« on: September 30, 2005, 06:00:37 AM »
Is there anyway I can find out where an orphaned xref came from?

Ive got some orphaned xrefs in a drawing, and I need to find out what they were, where they came from and which file they were once attached to, is that possible.

Many thanks

Tracey

Look in the tree listing to see if the xref is listed as being attached to another xref. The xref will show as being orphaned if the original xrefed file has been moved or renamed. Click on the orphaned file to see the original file location, click on browse and locate the file.

Thanks for that, sorry I didnt reply sooner. The whole drawing is a right mess, with xrefs attached all over the place. I'vs spent most of the day trying to sort out whats referenced into what. I feel that I am no further on now than I was this morning :(
