Posting code
« on: February 01, 2005, 07:05:06 AM »
As a general rule I'd prefer not to see code posted directly in a thread unless you are the author of that code. The prefered method is to post a link to the authors website if one exists. This gives credit where credit is due and also generates traffic to that persons site.

Thanks.

I vote yes. In that you at least try (attempt) to give credit where credit is due. Post a screen name or anything you know about the orgins.

Mark,
Andrea has a program under the "Block Manager" posting. Is it ok to post it? How?
I believe he is the author, but I don't know if he has a personal site

I have been guilty of this a few times, but usually the code has the author credit contained within
