Here's a lead: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?p=298764

Wow, I didn't mean to come off sarcastic.  I actually wasn't paying attention to names at all, and did not notice the dates/names on that post over there.

You still need it, or no?

That one on CadTutor is me as well. Having problems getting that one working.
Thanks for the effort though. If anyone has any other leads, I would greatly appreciate them.
A 2D version should work just fine, but anything will help.

Thanks Again.

Oh, it's not the model that's not working. It's trying to get it emailed to me all together. Think I have it coming now, but the gentleman that's trying to help is not sure if it's the right crane. I will check it out as soon as I get it.
I contacted the original manufacturer of the crane and they didn't use CAD back then so I'm hoping that someone has made one since for some other reason.

Thanks again for all of your effort. I have been reading this and the other site for quite awhile and have learned a lot from both places. Being self taught people like you guys have taught me a lot.

perhaps you need a Lilly pad to hold that drawing....when email proves to lack the size and strength

I got the drawing, but it turned out to not be the particular crane that I needed. It was a nice 3D model of an RT crane, but unfortunately I am looking for the exact crane that we are utilizing here.

Anybody have any ideas on where to go next on my search?

if you have photos, and dimensions of said crane....
might it be possible to modify the one you got into the one you want?

That is an idea, but with my self-taught ways and lack of time, I don't know how well that would work. I was hoping that someone would have something to help me out, but it seems that the only solution would be for me to try and make it myself and hope for the best. I even contacted the original manufacturer and this was made before they utilized CAD drawings so they don't even have anything.

I'm way behind on a Chevron project most of time is devoted to that.
I have maybe a day or two to get that part going - and finalized - it's a side project for another client - but need that drawing to jump to the next step.

there are a few small details that I might add, or otherwise modify on this model...
use as a block or XREF for easy updates....
