I'm trying to bring in my 3d model, in a different drawing, for an isometric view for my cover sheet. Whats the best way to do this, xref, dwf? Thanks.
-
Does it have to be another file? Why not a new layout in the same file?
Otherwise use XREF.
-
Yeah, has to be another file, its too hard to move around in the same drawing and make that my set of plans, too slow and klunky.

ditto Randy

thanks guys

You could get fancy and do a rendering then bring in the image.

Dunno why someone would want a 3d model of a cover sheet anyway. :-D

Dude... you got a Dell.

Not a bad rendering. It would be interesting if you mapped a landscape photo to the Window, for a little extra added depth to it.
