Title: m2p customization
Post by: notredave on March 20, 2018, 01:53:23 PM
Good afternoon all,

I have tried and tried to program my mouse (Logitech M705) button 4 and 5 (left side thumb area) to me m2p in CUI with no success. Any help would be appreciated. For instance, I would like to type in line, move ,copy and click on left thumb button and mid between 2 points would come up, instead of hitting ctrl+right click. If a lisp would be easier, like M2 to move between mid between 2 points with osnaps intact, I would insert it in my master lisp that loads in autocad.

Thank you for taking time to read this,
David

Writing a simple lisp program should not be to difficult. But i am not to sure exactly what you want. Perhaps you could do what you want manually then copy-paste the command line history here.

Manage multiple buttons on your mouse using the mouse software (Setpoint for Logitech hardware), not the CUI editor.

In the CUI-editor you can bind commands to the function keys. In Logitech Setpoint you then can bind the function keys to your mouse buttons.

I created a shortcut key to change the "F1" button to run M2P.
