I started playing with them at my last job just before I left.  They do not used them here but then again most people here use autocad as a dumb electronic pencil.  I keep showing them some of the new features and they accept some of the new feastures and reject others.

I should look into Mleaders some more.  Quick question though.  Can leaders style be set so that leaders alwyas connect to the text at certian points?  Here all text is left justfied and using regular leaders is a pain when editing text when the text is the left of the object beucase then the leader has to be edit to accomade the new text edits.   :realmad:

Okay so I am playing around with Mleaders which have led to additional questions.

see screen shot.  How do I make the style so that the text postion is always held (arrow 1 in screen shot)?  Right now every time I make a text edits or adjust the leaders landing it moves the text.

Second I need the leader attached toe the last word on the mulitline text and not the text box.  How do I do that?

How about 'Extend leader to text'.

Since you don't have the option to extend the leader to the text, perhaps setting the Horizontal attachment to 'Underline bottom line' might be an acceptable compromise.

Another thing I like about Multileaders.... once you have one set, click the Multileader once, right-click, select "Add Leader". Create as many extra leaders and when you move the text box all the connected leaders dynamically adjust.

Love multileaders and never use old style leaders... EVER!

I'll try to post how mine are set up, I use a user defined block for a finish callout and a multiline attribute for clarification under it. With a field in the finish callout that I link to a 'room info' block I can change all the finish tags in a room or a whole job uber easy.

AND.. if I must say, they look quite pretty, I use a drop shadow so they have 'depth' on the page and my clients love how they present to their clients.

What version are you using Jeff?
pic from 2013, but just opened 2012 and it also has the option.

That option does give you the desired results.
