HELP!!!
My autocads lost the plot, it's not finding intersection points, when i click insertion point of a block, it finds the original insertion point, not the point where the block is now.
This started when it could only find one endpoint of a line, now it's getting worse.
Please tell me I don't heve to re-install AutoCAD...
What can I do.
-
Just a guess but, did you change your UCS back to world? did you change 'plan' to world?
-
didn't change anything.
I have re-installed it now and everything is back to normal, my guess is a lisp routine i loaded changed too many of my settings.
SO now my next question.
If i save my profile as it is now, and load some stuff which changes my settings, if I reload my saved profile will everything revert to the way it was?
Also are profiles interchangeable withinn differnt AutoCAD versions?

The program is losing files ? So, how old is your computer ? Still under warranty ? Sounds like a real shakey hard disk to me. Can you spell "C R A S H " ? Your plot routine doesn't just go away by itself. Either you peed off a fellow employee who knows how to go into Windows Explorer and erase files or your pooter is going belly up. Have you run "Scandisk" lately ? Or "Defrag" ?

 Lost the plot is a scottish saying, translates to "is not working properly".

cockney = ENGLISH :fart:
Where as I am SCOTTISH, (refer to braveheart for Scotland/England relations study) :choke:
it would be like me calling all Americans, Canadian, and vice versa. 8)

Hey!!! Canadians are people too ... they just don't have a sense of humor about it....(sorry Mike)
-
SCOTLAND IS NOT PART OF ENGLAND?????? or is a deal like you don't call someone from Mississippi a "Yank" ?

Scotland is part of the United Kingdom, last I understood it, but not part of England itself and even in Mississippi you should know how much they hate each other.

That's why I bring it up Daron. And PDJ, them Cannucks really think they are French. That probably chaps the Queen. (The one from England, not the one running France now.)
Trev And Hudster ever hit the South, it won't be 15 minutes before some local tells them, "Ya'll sure do talk funny." 8)
And while I'm on my wisp of International Diplomacy, all of us English speaking people need to band together against the common foe. Yes, I can see it now, all of us forming a chin and chanting, "HEY, HEY, HO HO !! THEM FROGGIES GOTTA GO!"
-
I'll scan some dough tonight when I get home....that is, if I HAVE any!
...and Dent, what's this about us Canucks really thinking that we're french?!

M-DUB, what's the "Official Language" in Montreal ? I will give Canada this though, ya'll have a President who tries very hard to live up to his last name. Cretin ??? I guess it has a different meaning up there?

To answer the question about who's face is on my money, it's a long list of people, but our SCOTTISH bank notes don't feature the queen, but we do have Rabbie Burns on some fivers.
