I thought it would be nice to play around with UML diagrams in Visual Studio.
I have Professional but would need to upgrade to Ultimate.

Whoa .... reality check please!!

I have access to the Ultimate version at the local university ... I've been told I can get it on DVD from the bookstore for cheap, but I don't want to have a limited version that I can't use to produce applications.

... and yes, it is really expensive ... sometimes I wonder if that is to keep individuals and startup coders and developers out of the mix, thereby increasing wages for those already in the business because the average person won't/can't buy the application.
