To all the vetrans here this may not be the new, but our whole group found this helpful in setting up.
We just updated to 2009 Civil 3D, but the principal still applies in reg. 2009.
I just ran across some settings in 2009 that made my zooms and viewport moves NOT crawl anymore.
See my attachment png to see what I did. Anybody else have slow zooms with hatches or moves of viewports
that have been crawling in chunks no matter what your computer config/build? Any other handy tricks that
can be shared to make 2009 run faster? Please share. This was my biggest problem, and now is working great.
