Very well.  ^-^

What specifically are you asking? My Survey pack has embedded AutoCad so I am basically working in AutoCad. Similar to the way we used to use AutoCad and Softdesk. AutoCad for the drawings and Carlson for the commands and special routines.

I think so.  Our Carlson Field software in the data collectors runs on Intellicad and we have had no problems loading any dwg files. Text and ascii files come in just fine. (We never have had a client send us a drawing with the points in it. We get the dwg and the txt files and take off.) The only problem that I have hit with Intellicad in the Field software is that the current issue only goes up to Acad2007 settings and the Intellicad is not quite as robust and stable as AutoCad. It's fine for use in the field, but for Office use the extra funds for the AutoCad embedded version are money well spent.
I have read where Carlson is looking into porting to Briscad and possibly Intergraph, but nothing is final at this time.
