two fonts in same Mtext
« on: January 28, 2005, 10:52:35 AM »
I have a drawing, (from an architect   ), where there are two fonts used in the same text string, and he's done this in all the text strings.

So it says "Room 1", in romans, then "General Classroom" in Arial.
How can I change these so they are both romans without having to edit each piece of text individually?

Well, you could globally select the mtext change the style to what you want, (won't affect display) Explode each mtext then turn back into mtext with txt2mtxt

Well, I never said it was fast, but it certainly is not hard ....

Lets see ...
Select Text, change to correct style, explode, convert to mtext ....

That wouldn't be too difficult, I am glad someone looked it up and found something that solves his problem.

That was the way I was doing It i was just looking for a faster way.

This is a school that house over 1500 pupils and has in excess of 250 classrooms, not to mention social spaces, streets, toilets, canteens, starwells etc. all of which have this double text which needs to be created, and I have way more important stuff to do than explode and then re-assemble Mtext, and was hoping someone knew of a faster way that I didn't.
