The autocad architecture 2009 file open dialog box stopped working this morning. I tried the FileDia both setting 1 and 0.
The previous files will open in autocad. Double clicking on the file in the file manage will open autocad. Rebooting did not fix it.
Also installing AutoCAD Architecture 2010 64bit new install has the same problem.
Anybody seen this happen?
Windows Vista 64 bit and AutoCAD Architecture 64bit

let's set cmddia, and filedia both to 1
and see what's up?

We all ready tried that. All the other dialog boxes show up, only the "Select File" does not display. Other than that autocad works fine.
We think it may have to do with windows, since a new install of autocad 2010 has the same problem.

shut down autocad,
change your screen resolution to really crappy
restart autocad
find your errant dialog box

Nope. That did not work either.
We get no text at the command line when "open" is typed in.
"Fileopen" works fine. All othe dialog boxes and commands work fine.

We have not found what happened, but we reset the profile in options and this fixed it.

What's the problem exactly? Is the dialog opening off screen or just not working?
I have had a similar problem with a non-Autodesk product - may be relevant...
