How can i create a routine to do the following:

1. prompt user to pick a numerical text on screen

2. prompt user for a number & retain this value each time routine is executed

3. subtract line 2 from line 1

4. prompt user for insertion point of middle-center justified text results from line 3

Just wanted to clarify what i was trying to accomplish:

1. prompt user to pick a numerical text entity (x) on screen & get it's value

2. prompt user to enter a number (y) at command line & retain this value each time routine is executed

3. subtract (x)-(y)=(z)

4. prompt user for insertion point of middle-center justified text (z)
