I would say that by stretching the lines, they where rewritten in the database putting them on top of the wipeout.

If you regen after the stretch does the wipeout correct itself?

NO

The issue is related to the array action, the wipeout is working, however it's set above the background but below the new array. I'm not certain there is a "fix"to this, aside from removing the wipeout and setting the center drain to be static and stretch from both ends with an array for the two slots on each end.

suggest you try using elevation on objects to control position rather than draw order

draw the base stuff at 0

next stuff a 1

next at 2

next at 3

place wipe out at elevation to remove those things below it....2.5 or what ever makes sense

The above doesn't work..

So why not draw that center portion as fixed elements?
And allow the array/mirror of the other grate objects occur without need of any wipe out?
