Plotting Question
« on: February 22, 2005, 12:05:52 PM »
Ok, here at work, we use a Kip 2950 for our plotting needs. On every plot, we get a date and file stamp on the bottom of the sheets. When I plot, I do not have a plot stamp set up in my plotting dialog box, so where is this coming from? The Kip?

Another issue, in our folders that hold our drawings, we always get a text file named "plot". This text file has the same information that is plotted on the sheets as I mentioned above. So, not only do we get a plot stamp that we don't want, we get a file created in the folders that shows us what we don't want. Has anyone else had this and if so, how can I get rid of it?

The last thing you are talking about is the plot log, that is created everytime you plot

To turn off plot log file:

On the File menu, click Plot.
In the Plot dialog box, under Plot Stamp, click Settings.
In the Plot Stamp dialog box, click Advanced.
In the Advanced Options dialog box, under Log File Location, clear the Create a Log File option.
