i know its an outdated platform but before i attempt it, does vlisp work in acad 2000?

It also works in R14 with a special CD Kit (Visual LISP for AutoCAD Release 14).

Vital Lisp 3.0 from Basis worked in AutoCAD Rel 14.
AutoDesk purchased Vital Lisp and re-badged it.
AutoDesk Released the 'Visual Lisp' with Rel 14.01

Wiki:...briefly sold it as an add-on to AutoCAD Release 14 released in May 1997. It was incorporated into AutoCAD 2000 released in March 1999, as a replacement for AutoLISP...
I think I bought it for about 100$ ...years ago...

Hence why you can't believe it just because it's on wikipedia....
It was *originally* incorporated with AutoCAD in release 14.01.

I'm not so sure about this statement either -> "...the original AutoLISP engine was replaced with the Visual LISP engine"

I had 2 months of drafting class in school (divided up among hand drafting -> many different packages; about 2 weeks of AutoCAD training total). I trained on AutoCAD 2000i and had to step back to r14 when I started my internship; I remember the worst things about r14 was the scroll wheel zoom and the trimming to blocks not being present. ...r13 must have sucked! lol

Precisely ... 2000i was my next favorite just because of the mouse wheel navigation.
