Topic: windows update 7 with sp1 and .Net as an optional just killed my C3D 2011

Hi all, anybody else found that after today's update from windows...(these were optional for .Net 3.5.1) that it made C3D 2011 die?
I have confirmed this on my machine

Try to restore a "yesterday" state:

1] WIN-R
2] %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

I had to do a re-ghost of my machine, never did get a restore point to ever get my computer back to.... I did try restore, but it error-ed out. I love Norton Ghost. Really wanted to find out if anybody else found a similar situation with this update... it maybe that other software is in conflict... so a fishing expedition.


Well it seems it was my AVG anti-virus software that was the villain. I uninstalled it, ran the update and C3D ran fine...
