XLIST for Civil 3D objects?
« on: October 16, 2011, 09:59:41 AM »
Is there anything out there that gives us the same capability of XLIST that works with civil 3D objects. And on the same thread, the ability to turn off or freeze layers by picking part of a Civil 3D object?

SincpacC3D's EntityTracker does what XLIST does and more (I think...it's been years since I've used Xlist). http://www.quuxsoft.com/SincpacC3D_Help/SP_EntityTracker.htm

SincpacC3D's SPLayFrz and SPLayOff works with some of the C3D objects. http://www.quuxsoft.com/SincpacC3D_Help/SP_LayerFreeze.htm

Not sure exactly how SINCPAC interfaces, however you will also want to be sure that the setting
Allow Independent Layer On/Off control is toggled on in the Drawing Settings>>object Layers Tab

Although I'm wondering if Styles, and or object Isolation might serve your needs?
