Images not reloading-disappearing
« on: July 29, 2008, 09:22:18 AM »
Hi all,

I inserted an image (jpg) into a drawing, plotted and saved it. But when I went back to make
some changes to the drawing, the image was gone. I have to find and reload it again and again
when I reopen the drawing. Am I missing a step here to keep it in memory or what?

thanks,

vinny

This has become an repeating problem with our upgrade from LT2005 to LT2008.

I have posted the problem on a couple of forums, including this one. As I remember, the only suggestions I recieved was to print the pic to .pdf and insert it that way. - This isn't a solution that works for us.

Me thinks it is a CAD 2008 flaw.

The only thing I can think of is if the path isn't set to full path, and the image is not in the directory the drawing is in.  Kind of the same problem as xrefs.

The way we do it, there are no paths to remember / link.

We just copyclip & Pasteclip to & From Windows clipboard.
