Title: Redline program
Post by: jwisherd on December 09, 2004, 04:30:01 PM
I am looking for a simple intuitive redline program that is compatable with acad. One of our architects is out of the office alot and works off his laptop/stilus, but he dosn't know how to draw a line with acad. we are looking for a way to send him drawings, that he can mark-up (without acad) and send back to us so we can make the changes basied off his designs. Anyone know of a program that might work? What we are doing now is sending him jpegs, but that is not very efficient.

Version 7 of Acrobat will allow redlining of PDFs, but that's not out yet.

Try CADWIZZ (http://www.cadwizz.com/cadview.htm) it claims it can do redlining.

Will set you back about $80 though.

That looks interesting Mike.
I have used Adobe 6.0 as you can draw lines and add text to a pdf but not my favorite.
I prefer the old pencil. :)
