Attributes for non-block entities (polylines, say)
« on: January 30, 2012, 08:25:31 AM »
Is it possible to attach arbitrary attributes to non-block entities such as polylines, or is it necessary to group them into blocks first?

If blocks are needed for this, is there a fundamental limit to the number of blocks in a drawing?  I would effectively have to make every line into a unique block to attach attributes, is that likely to cause problems?

How about using xData instead?

Ah, that looks like what I'm after.  I didn't know about xdata.  Thank you.
