CUI XML files

Does 2009 and 2010 still use XML files that can be parsed?

2009 yes
2010 uses CUIX and are serialized

Thanks Louis.  By serialized you mean a binary format?  Or is it still text of some sort?

actually cuix is a container - change the extension to zip and inside are all the cui extensions

Thanks again. Just found that little nugget of info too.

I found that too, just a little while ago... by reading/noticed the PK - inside of them.
