Hatching sections

Anyone know of a hatch routine out there that will hatch a rectangle/slot into multiple hatches? Say you have a slot and you want it divided into 2,4,6,8 equal areas with hatches for each separate area and then you could delete the area you dont want as shown.

No, but worse case is you draw a rectangle, trim the hatch, then erase the rectangle.

Have you tried dynamic Blocks chock full of visibility states?
I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans
