Title: "Select File" GUI
Post by: Dr. After on October 08, 2007, 04:53:08 PM
In my last install of AutoCAD 2007 that I was graced by our fine IT department, I could dictate the size of the "Select File" GUI and it would stay that way everytime I opened it.  Now it wants to open in the default size every time.  Is there a way to correct this?

BTW - the window I am typing of is the one that appears when you are selecting a file to open via "open" command or "insert" and then "browse" sequence of commands.

i'm guessing here.

those settings maybe under

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.0\ACAD-5001:409\Profiles\AutoCAD2007\Dialogs

you may need change the product and profile name.

Is there anything I can do without having to contact the superfine IT department?

(They barely give me access to my C: drive, let alone registry...)

Just a recap...  this is happening with all the GUI's that pop up.  Not a single window will hold it's modified property and I know they used to.  Maybe I just need to have IT reinstall AutoCAD....
